You’re in control

You can manage everything from our mobile-friendly dashboard: DNS, domain contacts, nameservers, renewals and domain privacy. If you have web hosting with us, you can also manage email forwarding, catch-all emails and web forwarding.

Hide your contact details

Anyone buying a domain name from any provider is required to provide correct contact details which are then added to the public, globally accessible WHOIS database. This information is often used by third parties for spam, scams, and selling on. You can prevent your contact details being listed in this way with our Domain Privacy service.

Predictable pricing

Unlike others, we don’t discount the first year and raise our prices drastically in subsequent years. The price you pay year-on-year will remain the same great value.

Domains are registered at registry level as soon as you complete the checkout process with us. It can take up to 72 hours for a domain name to become visible on the internet as it globally updates. This applies for all domain names regardless of extension or registrar. However, in the majority of cases your domain name will be live within a few hours.

Your domain name purchase is made instantly with the relevant domain registrar so refunds are not possible. Choose your domain name diligently, type carefully and double check it before purchase!
Domain Names have a variety of basic rules, in general domains:
  • Use only letters, numbers, or hyphens (-)
  • Cannot begin or end with a hyphen
  • .com, .net, .org and .info domain names cannot exceed 67 characters total
  • .info and .biz must have at least 3 characters (not including .info or .biz)
  • Other domain names cannot exceed 22 characters (not including the TLD extension)
  • Are not case sensitive
  • Cannot include spaces
  • 2 letter domains are not normally permitted
Strictly speaking a domain name shouldn't begin with a number either, however, in practice, it is possible in most circumstances.
Here are some things to consider:
  • Make it memorable
  • Don't make it tooooo long
  • If you have to spell it out everytime you tell someone then reconsider
  • Avoid mis-spelling of words eg soundz
  • Avoid consecutive words that have the same end/start letter (eg danceentertainment)
  • If you do require consecutive letter words (as above) then use a hyphen (eg dance-entertainment)
  • When joining words - will they make new words that you don't want? (something pen island didn't consider?)
  • Although your choosen domain name is available, check that you're not breaching a current trademark
